Inspection Tour Manoa Canopy Villa

Tucked away in a lush Valley behind Waikiki, those looking for a secluded Oahu vacation home that is close to town yet surrounded and defined by lush tropical forest will find their paradise at the Manoa Canopy Villa.

Manoa Canopy Villa is an epic mid-century forest retreat. The home is perfect for the modern-day Swiss Family Robinson that loves Oahu for its city charms, yet wants to feel close to nature and immersed in the sounds, sights and clean scent of the tropical forest. The property includes nine acres of Oahu forest.

This unusual, Honolulu vacation home delivers sophistication and seclusion, within sight of Honolulu city lights in the distance. You will wake to the sounds of birds and the wind rustling in the foliage at this property, and be able to drive to or Uber to Waikiki Beach, Ala Moana, Kapiolani Park or downtown with ease.

The Manoa Canopy Villa recently underwent a million-dollar renovation, and boasts an updated kitchen and bathroom areas. In some ways, the home feels like a luxurious tree house - imagine, Swiss Family Robinson meets contemporary elegance!

Upon arrival, one is struck by the size of the trees that surround the home on the lush hillside. One can imagine seeing rainbows over the Manoa Valley after rains.

Once inside the main gate, guests are greeted by the welcome sight of a large private pool, complete with a gazebo. This pool area defines the lower edge of the front yard, and provides a terrace from which guests can take in the valley and the twinkling city beyond.

Walking into this unique home, the first striking features is the entry atrium, complete with a tree growing in the space, reaching up towards the floors above. Walking up the stairs to the main living area, you land in the center of the home, between the kitchen and the living room. Another standout feature of this Oahu vacation villa is the incredible Asian art collection that has been thoughtfully installed throughout the home.

Because of all the windows and the height and openness of the interior space, one has the feeling of being in an arboretum or glass botanical garden house. Yet, this is very much an elegant home, with modern furnishings and gorgeous art showcased throughout. A beautiful contemporary kitchen awaits and meals can be served on the eight-person dining table.

The living area also features elegant and comfortable contemporary furnishings. Looking down on the main living area from the upstairs level, one can take in the architectural uniqueness of the home. Also, an interesting wooden canoe is a surprise above the kitchen area.

There are four bedrooms with en-suite baths: two bedrooms have king-size beds, a third has a queen-size bed and a fourth a full-size bed. The home accommodates eight guests comfortably,

In addition to the ample living space and amazing valley views, the home has a screened porch and an office area and gym, with treadmill and weights.

For those who love Oahu for its green hillsides as well as its lively city and town-side beach life, the Manoa Canopy Villa offers elegance and an immersive experience that will refresh and purify. This is a home in where you can truly relax and get away from it all, while still being close to all the action!
