A palatial living space features generous seating, a media area, vaulted wood ceilings that converge toward a large octagonal skylight, and floor-to-ceiling glass pocket doors that open fully to the lanai, creating a seamless transition from indoor to outdoor living. The modern kitchen comes well-appointed with high-end appliances and quality tableware, and a bonus kitchen provides added flexibility for large groups.
The Poliahu primary suite (bedroom #1) is situated in its own ocean-view pavilion overlooking the pool, golf course, and Kohala coastline. This stunning space offers a California king bed, new air conditioning unit, seating area and desk, and a private ocean-view balcony with outdoor seating. The dramatic en suite primary bath includes a jetted tropical rock tub, a walk-in rock shower with a miniature waterfall, dual vanities, and a separate commode for privacy.
A third pavilion houses the remaining four bedroom suites at Fairways North #1, all with full ensuite baths and ocean views. The Kuka‘ilimoku suite (bedroom #2) has two twin beds (which can be converted to a king upon request) and a unique circular walk-in shower, while the Pu‘u Kohola suite (bedroom #3) has a California King bed, a walk-in shower, and dual sinks. Both of these bedrooms have new air conditioning units and sliding glass doors to access the lovely grounds.
The Lilinoe upper-level bedroom (bedroom #4) provides a California king bed, a new air conditioning unit, a full en suite bathroom, and a balcony with an outdoor shower overlooking the Kohala mountains and coastline. An exquisite spiral staircase leading from this suite to the lower level may be locked for privacy or used as a passageway for parents and children. The downstairs Lilinoe suite (bedroom #5) features magnificent high ceilings, two queen pune‘e (Hawaiian daybeds), and floor-to-ceiling teak doors that open completely to the lanai and private grassy lawn. Its en suite bath offers a jetted soaking tub and walk-in rock shower.
Fairways North #1 boasts a state-of-the-art entertainment system with 49-inch Sony Diamond Deluxe smart flat-screen televisions in all five bedroom suites and the living area. Each television comes equipped with Apple TV live streaming and complimentary Netflix, Hulu Live, HBO, and Cinemax. Several Blu-ray and DVD players are also provided. An integrated Sonos speaker system plays your choice of music with exceptional quality throughout the home, and wireless internet extenders ensure full access to high-speed service in every room.
The impressive entrance, walkways, and exterior of Fairways North #1 have been landscaped with great care, creating a tranquil Hawaiian atmosphere and a feast for the senses. The grounds contain multiple water features and lush tropical flora such as palms, heliconia, plumeria, and bougainvillea. Plentiful lounge seating, a large Weber barbecue grill, and multiple open-air dining areas enable guests to live as comfortably outdoors as indoors.

Mauna Kea Resort's famous crescent shaped white sand beach, world-class Hapuna Beach, golf courses, pools, and exercise facilities are all less than five minutes away.
Once your reservation with us is confirmed, Guests wishing to receive amenities access and charging privileges at the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and the Westin Hapuna Resort may opt-in to pay an additional $240 per day to the resort. Resort services, amenities, and fees are subject to change anytime. The Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and the Westin Hapuna Resort Management maintain absolute control of establishing and administrating resort access, amenities access, daily resort fees, account charges, policies, and restaurant reservations.
