Adjacent to the 2nd hole green along the lush Kona Country Club’s Makai Golf Course, this home is perfect for families who want spectacular views of tropical-inspired fairways and the dazzling Pacific. This luxury vacation rental features an open floor plan with rich, custom wood pocket doors that open up to an oversized, covered lanai.

Blue Orca boasts a delightful living space with unique accommodations and an idyllic location near Keauhou Bay, the best beach on the Big Island to swim with manta rays. While staying here, you’ll have easy access to gorgeous beaches like White Sands Beach Park, Kua Bay, and Makalawena. Attractions such as oceanfront golf, the Kealakekua Bay marine sanctuary, hiking opportunities, waterfalls, and numerous restaurants and shopping options are also nearby.

Holua Kai's Plantation-style homes have been specifically designed to merge indoor and outdoor spaces thanks to their large open floor plans that maximize natural lighting and ventilation. While the home is additionally equipped with central A/C for those uncharacteristically warm days, the windows can remain open to allow for the cooling trade winds to aerate the home. When you venture outside, you’ll surely be mesmerized by the unobstructed cobalt blue ocean views from your custom in-ground swimming pool and spa.

The spacious kitchen island includes custom Bordeaux Dream Granite slab countertops and glass backsplash, a GE Monogram Pro stainless steel appliance package, under cabinet LED lighting, and solid wood cabinetry with soft-close drawers and doors. Beautiful tile can be found throughout the living, dining, and kitchen areas and the furnishings have been carefully selected from a professional decorator.

Blue Orca is able to accommodate up to 8 guests due to its 3-bedroom layout. The Primary Suite comes complete with a King-size bed and an ensuite featuring a large, free-standing soaking tub, walk-in shower, and split vanities accented by solid granite countertops. The additional guest bedrooms feature King-size bedroom layouts and a shared full bathroom. An extra sleeping space can be found in the living room, thanks to the comfortable Queen-size sleeper sofa available there. With all of the unique amenities you’ll find at Blue Orca, this space is sure to feel like your Hawaiian home-away-from-home.

Please note that 7 private tennis and 20 pickleball courts are available for guest use for an additional fee. Of those facilities, 5 tennis courts and 8 pickleball courts have lights. Court Rentals are $25/hour per court for non-members. If you'd like to become a member of the Holua Kai community, the court rental fee will be waived. To book a private tennis or pickleball court, guests may call or text Holua Kai's shop phone, and let them know of the day and time you are planning to play. A member of Holua Kai's community team will let you know which court(s) are available.

Drop-in, Open Pickleball Play Schedule @ Holua Racquet and Paddle: Every drop in play is open to members and non-members alike. Non-members pay $10/person for each open play they join. For example, if you play in the 8 AM open play and pay $10/person, an additional $10/person for the afternoon play will apply. However, the Holua Kai community offers weekly, monthly, and more membership rates. If interested, please contact Holua Kai's shop for applicable rates.
