Kauai’s ever-present jungle provides the inspiration for the color palette of Hanalei Waterfall House, with its cock's comb red floors and golden plume yellows, these balanced by soft sky blues, rich tropical wood accents, and natural slate bathrooms. The house inspires. Downstairs are two spacious bedroom suites, each designed with full privacy in mind and each featuring its own private full bathroom. Heading up the Kauaian Kamani wood paneled staircase to the second floor you'll find mountain and waterfall views from the dining room, living room, and the Ipe wood lanai. Also on the second floor you’ll find the home’s third bathroom and third bedroom (which can be configured either with three twin beds for the keikis, or converted to another king bedroom, with a twin daybed). Ceiling fans throughout provide for most cooling needs, though should you need it each of the bedrooms also features air conditioning - a rare amenity for homes in Hanalei.

When you choose to stay-in, join together to prepare meals in the large, well-complemented, airy kitchen with stainless steel countertops and Koa wood bar. Gather around open-plan dining area or spread out into the adjacent living room and out onto the lanai, enjoying the mountain and waterfall views. Of course, should you want to enjoy the town, take the easy local stroll just outside your gate where Hanalei’s best restaurants and shops await.
