Lookout Ski Lodge
Natural elements including alder, stone, granite and iron are beautifully incorporated into the design of this home. Those, combined with the soothing, muted tones of the interior decor, provide a calming, relaxing environment. At over 5,400 square feet, the Lookout Ski Lodge has three separate living areas that give larger groups plenty of space to relax. Kids can gather for a movie or games in the downstairs living room while the adults enjoy some post-dinner cocktails and conversation in the great room. Both living areas feature a cozy fireplace and ample seating.
On one level, guests will find two of the five bedrooms, the family room complete with a fireplace, TV and deck access (where the spa is located). Take the stairs (or elevator!) to the level where the kitchen, dining area, great room, media room and master bedroom are located. The great room also has doors leading to the deck. The spacious garage with lots of storage space, mudroom and two more bedrooms are located on the street level.
Lookout Ski Lodge’s five bedrooms will comfortably accommodate up to ten guests. The spacious Master has its own fireplace, a king size bed and an en-suite bathroom. Massive windows keep you in touch with the beautiful outdoors. Bedrooms Two and Three, with respective king- and queen-size beds share a double-vanity bathroom with bathtub and shower. Bedrooms Four and Five each have an en-suite bath, with Bedroom Four having a queen-size bed and Bedroom Five being equipped with two twins.
The custom kitchen has state-of-the-art appliances, an exquisite copper range hood and a wine refrigerator. The extra space of the center island in addition to the bar with seating for three is perfect for guests working together to create a gourmet meal that can be enjoyed in the adjacent dining area or on one of the decks.
The exterior decks are the perfect location for taking in the scenery and mountain air, whether you’re barbecuing a steak dinner, relaxing on one of the cushioned lounges, enjoying an al fresco meal, or stargazing from your private hot tub.
Other conveniences - and a luxury - include a washer & dryer, satellite TV, wifi, and a complimentary ski shuttle that will take you to the slopes that are a mere five minutes away. Where’s the luxury, you ask? That would be the steam shower, perfect for unwinding after an active day on the slopes.
