This house is perfect for a large family or even two families traveling together and it has the feel of a home that has served as a much-loved family retreat. Sitting oceanfront in the upscale, quiet and family-oriented neighborhood of Kahala, the views of the reef are superb. We also love the proximity to Waikiki and the Kahala shopping center with Whole Foods and other great stores.

My family came from New Zealand, Detroit, Sun Valley Idaho, and Los Gatos California to celebrate my 80th birthday. The rooms were lovely but some did not get any air flow. the property was on the ocean, but there was no beach and very inconvenient to get to one...i.e.drive down a few blocks, or walk with chairs, snorkels etc...The kitchen was extremely well stocked, the home had more extra rooms than we used i.e. the media room
