Built to accentuate its natural surroundings, the villa's outdoor space almost feels like your own private sanctuary overlooking the rolling blue waves of the Sea of Cortez. An expansive deck leads to an outdoor infinity pool that seemingly extends out to the horizon, accompanied by a Jacuzzi and a nearby day bed for lounging under shade. The space also includes a large outside dining table, six deck loungers, a built-in gas barbecue, and an outdoor stereo system. A partially shaded outdoor living area with a firepit and comfortable seating almost becomes a secret garden of sorts, encircled by tropical plants and landscaping. A partially shaded upper deck produces even more seating and lounge space, with a glass railing to admire the views from an entirely different portion of the home.

The views are no doubt a true focal point, as the inside space is just as impressive. Neutral tones and modern furnishings are used throughout the home, as massive wrap-around glass presents the opportunity to admire the surrounding scenery from almost every room. Direct water views are possible while dining around the large indoor table for eight, or meal prepping from the nearby gourmet kitchen with professional appliances and flat panel cabinetry. The views are impressive from the main living room as well, which overlooks the pool deck and the ocean beyond, complemented by a true statement piece in the form of an oversized coffee table. The home extends to include a cozy TV area with a 100-inch cinema screen and five bedrooms, some of which offer new furnishings, additional living space, and wrap-around views to an outdoor terrace. Even one of the luxurious, spa-like baths allows you to admire the ocean from one of the most private rooms in the home, complete with dual shower heads.

Close to a swimmable beach, Cabo Colorado itself is extremely private and quiet, but also manages to sit between two golf courses and close to outdoor adventures. A stay at Villa Ruby not only means being part of a gated community, but also having your own security system, a water purification system, and daily maid service.
