Skiing and Snowboarding

Park City Mountain Resort is one of the largest ski resorts on the continent. The resort has three different base areas and multiple different slopes.

Sundance Film Festival

Deer Valley Music Festival

During the summer, The Utah Symphony and Utah Opera put on the Deer Valley Music Festival in Park City. The festival features classical, chamber, and pop music performed at venues throughout the city. Skiing Events 

Skiing is one of the biggest attractions in Park City. Naturally, the town hosts a number of different skiing events. In December, come take part in the Deer Valley Celebrity Skifest. This event draws famous figures from the Winter Olympics and Hollywood in the name of raising money for the clean water program WaterKeeper Alliance. 

In February, freestyle skiers come to Park City to compete in the FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup. Visitors can watch the competition, held in Deer Valley, for free. The skier competes on the same runs athletes used during the 2002 Olympus Winter Games. A fireworks show marks the end of each day of the competition.
