Annual Waikiki SPAM Jam
SPAM is a beloved food in Hawaii. The Waikiki SPAM Jam is an annual street festival that takes place on Kalakaua Avenue and celebrates Hawaii's love of SPAM. This is a fun, uniquely contemporary Hawaiian event. Proceeds raised from the festival benefit the Hawaii Food Bank.
The Honolulu Triathlon
Come support the thousands of triathletes at the Honolulu Triathlon.The event begins and ends in Ala Moana Beach Park, so make your way over to see these triathletes and stop at Ala Moana Shopping Center for some great shopping.
Lantern Floating Ceremony - May
This beautiful and stirring tlantern radition is held every year on Memorial Day, at Magic Island at Ala Moana Beach Park to set afloat 3,000 candlelit lanterns in memory of loved ones. The tradition originated in Japan and today thousands of all faiths take part in this beautiful ceremony.
