Benefits of a St. Martin Vacation Rental

St. Martin is alive with tropical wildlife and culture. It is no surprise this lush Caribbean island is a popular vacation destination. The white sand beaches, warm weather, and spectacular scenery beckon to travelers from across the world. As such a coveted spot, the island has a wide array of places to stay during your visit. Why choose to rent a vacation villa?

Vacation villas offer guests a unique and personalized experience. All of our villas are private, ensuring you have a serene and intimate experience during your stay. Instead of staying in a private room at a hotel, you can enjoy an entire private home to yourselves. You can select a villa with a private pool or an entire private beach. You and your travel companions can spend your stay on the island sunning yourselves and swimming in a place that is all your own.

Many of our villas also come with additional amenities. Work out in a personal gym, unwind in a sauna, soak in a hot tub, or play tennis on a private court. If you want to enjoy your proximity to the ocean, stay at a villa with personal kayaks and snorkel gear for exploring the waters off your private beach. You can find a villa in our collection with just the right amenities for you.

While staying at a vacation villa, you can also look forward to a personalized meal experience. You can select a villa that comes with a personal chef who will tailor a menu to your dietary needs and your specific tastes. You can eat at your leisure inside your own beautiful dining room or al fresco by the private pool. At other villas, you can cook for yourself. These villas are located near excellent grocery stores that have a wide selection of delicious foods. You could also opt for a grocery delivery service. The villas’ fully stocked kitchens come with all of the supplies you will need to create a full menu.

St. Martin Villas with Staff

Many of our villas also come with additional staff members. You can opt to have a housekeeper and laundress keep the property neat during your stay. You can also rely on excellent security at each one of our villas.

St. Martin - Private Homes and Mega Comfort

When it comes to sleeping on vacation, you want your nights to be as restful as possible. The total privacy and luxury of our villas ensure you will experience a blissful night’s rest each day of your stay. The bedrooms at our villas feature sumptuous beds covered in fine linens. You won’t have to worry about the noise of neighboring guests, like you would in a hotel. Instead, you can slip between the soft sheets in your own room and drift off in complete peace. Couples can select a villa with rooms or suites separate from the main house for an even more private and romantic experience. Families can choose villa’s that have connecting rooms. The parents can sleep easy in a king-size bed, knowing their kids are just next door in their own room.

Our villas also feature spacious and luxurious living spaces that will be completely yours during your stay. Outside, you can lounge on an expansive, furnished terrace. Sip on cocktails, or even take a nap, while you relax on a chaise lounge. Many of our villas also have gazebos and al fresco dining areas. Each outdoor living space is surrounded by views of the island’s tropical greenery and the blue waters of the Caribbean Sea.

Inside, guests can relax in their rental’s lavish living room and dining room. Each piece of furniture, many of them custom-made, is carefully selected for its comfort and beauty. Many of our properties also offer private patios and terraces.

When compared to a hotel or resort, the benefits of a villa rental are clear. Considering the price of a room combined with the cost of food, beverages, and entertainment, the price tag of a resort stay quickly outstrips that of a vacation rental. Vacation rentals also offer a custom experience, rather than packaged one. You choose your meals, the amenities you want, and the pace of your vacation. Choose to elevate your St. Martin vacation to an extraordinary level with a stay at one of our villa rentals.

The Allure of St. Martin Beaches

The beaches are one of the biggest St. Martin attractions. The island country has more than 40 miles of pristine coastline with nearly 40 major beaches, not to mention all of the small, private sandy strips. Orient Bay, located on the French side of the island, is one of the St. Martin’s most popular beaches. After you have sunned yourself on the soft sands and swam in the turquoise waters of the ocean, you can explore the beaches shops and restaurants.

No matter where you are on the island, you will never be far from one of its beautiful beaches. Many of our villas are located by Orient Bay, as well as the beaches of Plum Bay, Baie Rouge, Mullet Bay, and Simpson Bay. Swimming in the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea is a must-have experience for all St. Martin vacationers.

Water Sports

With so many beaches, St. Martin is a natural spot for water sport enthusiasts. Pick your favorite water sport and prepare yourself for an adrenaline rush. Grab a surfboard and head out to ride the waves. The St. Martin Tourist Office suggests Cupecoy, Guana Bay, Le Galion, Mullet Bay, Petites Cayes Beach, and Plum Bay as some of the best surf spots on the island. Experienced surfers can bring their own boards, while aspiring surfers can take lessons.

St. Martin also has great spots for jet-skiing, wind surfing, waterskiing, wakeboarding and paddle boarding. If you prefer boating, you can paddle boat, kayak, and canoe in the island’s warm, sparkling waters. Simpson Bay, a large inland lagoon, serves as a great spot for kayaking and canoeing. St. Martin also operates a number of different deep-sea fishing excursions. You can charter a boat from one of the island’s several different fishing clubs.

Head out to the open sea and reel in marlins, tuna, wahoo, mahi-mahi, and more.

St. Martin is also home to some excellent diving clubs. Experienced divers will find themselves in paradise. You can also take scuba diving lessons or try out snorkeling. The crystal clear waters of St. Martin are perfect for spotting colorful tropical fish and marine wildlife, including coral, lobsters, and starfish. The island has a number of living reefs that you can explore right offshore.

St. Martin Wildlife and the Outdoors

Diving and snorkeling aren’t the only ways to spot the vibrant and varied wildlife of St. Martin. Onshore, you can spot tropical birds and land animals, such as iguanas and mongooses. One of the best places to get an up close look at the island’s fauna is the St. Martin National Nature Reserve.

See if you can spot sea turtles visiting the shore to lay their eggs. Offshore, you might be able to spot majestic humpback whales and playful dolphins. You will have the best chance of seeing these large marine mammals from February to June. The nature reserve is also full of colorful, tropical plant life.

St. Martin also has miles of hiking trails. Walk through forests, over ridges, by lakes, and through ravines for a scenic view of the island. You can also tour the island by bicycle. You can rent bikes and ride around the island on your own time. Many places also offer guided bike tours of the island.  If you are looking for a little adventure, take a trip to Loterie Farm and zip-line above the forest’s towering, green canopy.

St. Martin Golf Villas

St. Martin’s beautiful landscape makes the perfect setting for the emerald green expanse of a golf course, and the island has a great option for anyone looking to play 18 holes. Bring your clubs to the Mullet Bay Golf Course. The 70-par course is located on the Dutch side of the island. On the French side of the island, golfers can practice their long game at the Orient Bay Driving Range. St. Martin also hosts two annual golfing events, the Generali Golf Tour and the Concordia Cup.

St. Martin Dining

No vacation would be complete without delicious cuisine. While you can enjoy meals in the comfort of your own vacation villa, you can also explore the island’s excellent restaurants.
