We traveled as a group as we have in the past but our experience at Hidden Bay by the Sea was by far the best our group had experienced. The Villa is lovely. The beds are all extremely comfortable the rooms are cool and cozy all our time was spent on the porches, in the pool or hot tub or down by the sea on our own private patio. The pool is small but plenty big enough to cool off or hang around in. There are places around the property for couples to get away by themselves and for larger groups the cottage is spectacular, private cozy and right on the cliff with the hot tub 10 feet from the porch! However the most valuable part of this property is without a doubt it’s staff. Our housekeepers and grounds keeper were wonderful both inside and outside were meticulous but the most amazing thing about this villa is chef David and the butler Richie. We have been to many islands and many villas but never have we had a Chef and Butler this amazing. We gave them full reign to make whatever local cuisine they would like. One of our group has food allergies and is gluten-free and chef David made her feel special and taken care of and stress-free about her food which was amazing. We all got so excited every meal waiting to see the latest masterpiece and the friendly smile’s from our staff and our favorite part was chef David’s explanation of what we were about to eat the entire experience was perfect. My husband was celebrating his 50th birthday I had no expectation I let them know we will be dressing for dinner one evening and would like to take pictures with the staff for his birthday. They set up a beautiful table outside on the lawn we had lobster which was fantastic and prepared to perfection and we would know as we are from Boston and know our lobster! Our dinner ended with a one of a kind birthday cake under the stars it was truly magical. We did not know until the last night that our butler Richie actually made all the desserts during our stay he is truly a talented kind wonderful man. If you are looking for a comfortable Villa and your priority is food and service I don’t believe there is a better choice on the island than Hidden Bay by the Sea every other villa owner on the island should be trying to recruit the staff I would follow them anywhere!

The villa; this place is amazing, it was everything we expected and so much more. The architecture was what I would imagine a turn of the century island plantation to be. The wood and décor is amazing. The property itself is beautiful, well-manicured lawns, plenty of seating that exploited the most amazing views, sunrise to sunset. During the day everything was opened up to take advantage of the constant cool trade winds, during the evening meal the staff would close up the bedrooms and lower the AC, after the evening swim in the pool and a nightcap, we would head off to our very cool rooms, perfect if we got too much sun. The little touches are very nice, beds turned down and a chocolate candy on your pillow. The staff, was incredible. Our Valet / Concierge Ritchie was the most wonderful person, incredibly attentive to our needs. Ritchie left us wanting for nothing, a true professional and a real gentleman. Our Chef, Chef Chad was fantastic. Chef Chad never disappointed, each meal was very well thought out, professionally prepared and presented. When we met with the chef on our first full day to plan out the weeks meals, we requested he treat us to Jamaican cuisine, he did not disappoint. The rest of the staff were amazing and attentive, always nearby to assist us in any way but never intrusive. Sometimes it felt like they read our mind, as soon as we would think of a need someone was right there to address it. Hats off to you all, and my heartfelt thank you. This may sound silly but one of the things my family talks about was the pre meal ritual of Ritchie announcing that are meal was ready and he presented us with ice cold / almond extract towels. Very refreshing and a special touch. Beach access was great, there are several points to enter the water, depending on what you wanted to do. To hang out on the beach and splash around we used one access point. When we wanted to snorkel we used another that put us closer to the reef. Reading the reviews before our trip two things where called out. Mosquitoes, I can honestly say I was never bothered one time by an insect. We packed repellent because of the review but never had to use it. The other concern pointed out was the road noise. Yes, this hidden gem does sit right off the main road that circles the island and yes there is road noise but nothing unbearable and never so noisy to interrupt sleep or quite conversation. A very special thanks again to the Hidden Bay staff, to sum up the interaction with the staff, the day of our arrival we were formal, handshakes and introductions, with our departure it was warm hugs sincere goodbyes and well wishes. They even called us Jamericans LOL.

Hidden Bay is just as beautiful as the photos. We felt like we were living in a magazine photo shoot. It completely opens to the outdoors and feels like a very luxurious traditional Caribbean house. The house, grounds and gardens are meticulously kept, and the separate cottage is ideal for groups of friends or family. We saw almost no one on the beach and there's a great little swimming spot close to the villa. Further out the reef is in great condition for snorkeling. If you like nightlife or TVs in every room then this isn't the house for you: it's designed for enjoying the outdoors and the people you're traveling with. There are lots of separate areas to sit and the villa is very child friendly despite the low garden walls. There are no restaurants nearby, but the fantastic staff at this villa absolutely spoiled us all and we only went out on day trips, which was just fine as we felt no need to leave. The food was so good we only ate lunch out once (and everyone is now on a diet)! We booked massages with Caroline and highly, highly recommend it. This is a really special villa built on spectacular cliff top overlooking the sea and a quiet beach.

Holiday Reservations: Please note that the holiday (higher) nightly rate will be applicable to the full duration of any reservation that includes said holiday date, regardless of rate period listed.

Damage Deposits: A damage deposit of 10% of the villa rental is due to secure this reservation. A mandatory damage insurance waiver covers the first $2,000 in damages. If the rental requires more than a $2,000 deposit, guest will be required to pay any damage deposit amount that exceeds the $2,000 damage waiver, which is refundable provided no damage occurs.

Tryall Club Reservations: The Accidental Damage Waiver policy and/or security deposit are not due for reservations occurring at the Tryall Club, as a credit card will be collected upon check-in for the security deposit and released after check-out as long as there are no incidents or damages found.
