The newly built Villa Honu (HON) is a maximalist playground, with a contemporary design that’s full of whimsy and pops of color like the bucket swing chairs on the terrace beside the pool, the orange and silver turtle on the coffee table, and chandeliers that appear to have been made with beach glass. The luxury rental property perfectly encapsulates the carefree spirit and commitment to style of St. Barth.
Villa Honu has a personality of its own, but it also has objective advantages, such as its modern construction, location in St. Jean, and spectacular views over St. Jean Bay and the airport. The location gives the house easy access to the restaurants and beaches of St. Jean, as well as many other areas.
The villa is spread over three levels. On the ground floor, a covered parking area offers ample space for cars. The common areas and two of the bedrooms are one level up. The remaining two bedrooms are on the top floor.
The living area has large, plush couches and a full wall of windows with a sea view, which can be opened to allow the island breezes to waft in, and to connect the living area to the terrace, with its covered outdoor dining area and kitchen, as well as the heated infinity pool. The main kitchen is tucked in the back, along one wall of the living room.
The primary bedroom is on the same level as the living areas and has its own private entrance from the pool deck. The second bedroom on this floor is situated next to the living area and kitchen. The remaining two bedrooms, on the top floor, can be connecting. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom.
