Villa Sunrise (KAR) is a traditional St. Barth villa with a twist. The luxury rental property comes with all of the expected features and amenities and one that is not: a music room with instruments. Music lovers of all styles will love the drums, electric guitars, and amplifier, as well as the lounge chair and ocean view for any would-be spectator.

For everyone else, Villa Sunrise has many other charms. It has a convenient location, just a five-minute walk from Nikki Beach and St. Jean. It has beguiling views over St. Jean Bay. And it has the traditional Caribbean style that many visitors to the island love.

Indoors there are intriguing textures, such as a mosaic-style wall behind a bed and long curtains tied with tassels and puddled on the floor, and soothing colors. But it is important to note that only the four bedrooms are fully inside.

The social heart of the vacation home is semi-outdoors. The living room is in fact a terrace, beneath an indoor-style vaulted and whitewashed roof that gives it ample protection from the sun and other elements. It has a generous sitting area and a dining area with a table that seats eight.

The kitchen, with its island and breakfast far, is also open-air, covered but with no wall between it and the pool terrace. The pool and some lounge chairs are on the sunny, uncovered part of the terrace. These have the best view over the blue bay.

The common areas, music room, and three of the bedrooms are on the main level, which also has the coded entrance gate. Two of these bedrooms have king-size beds, and the other has a queen. The fourth bedrooms is on the lower level with twin beds that can be made up as a king. Each of the bedrooms has an ensuite bathroom with a rain head shower. The bedroom downstairs has a private terrace.

Villa Sunrise can also be rented with Villa Mystique (MKA) next door for a total of nine bedrooms.
