The view and location cannot be beat. Not our first visit to Makena Surf Condos, first time. Good communication from the team and they did provide us the few things we needed and asked for in a timely manner.
The condo has everything you need to be like a home away from home. Amazing sunsets and beach view from the back patio, just a few minutes walk to be on the beach.
It's shocking to watch so many inexperienced people in the water, and with their kids!!! Be careful in the ocean if you are not experienced! There is no lifeguard at this beach! Parents, teach your kids to play civilized and only scream or yell if you need help. Based on parents and their kids these days this may not be a popular opinion...
Makena surf is an amazing, secluded and peaceful place, respect the ocean and those around you and it will be the vacation of a lifetime.

They were the perfect hosts! From start to finish, our trip was amazing. I informed them that we were celebrating my friend’s birthday and they had a welcome gift prepared when we arrived. They were very responsive throughout the entire stay. We needed fresh towels and a new key card; they were on it! The location is amazing from the pool, hot tub, grill onsite, and their proximity to the beach. Would visit again!

We were lucky enough to stay a week at the Mākena Surf resort. F306 was beautiful, comfortable and clean. Property management was great and easy to work with. Just wish our trip was longer!

Our family of 4 has stayed at Makena Surf more than 20 times. This is one of the nicest units we have stayed in, and that is saying a lot! The view from the common area and lanai is spectacular. It would be hard to be any closer to the ocean. We saw a lot of whales during our Dec/Jan stay! The units at Makena Surf get progressively smaller as you go up - 1st floor units are spacious, 2nd floor are in-between, 3rd floor is smallest. Views from the 3rd floor are the best, though, so think about the tradeoff. Management of this unit was very professional and quick. We had a TV issue and it was resolved with style. Within a few hours of me texting the management company, a technician appeared with a replacement TV.
