Resort access and on-property reservation policies vary by season. During Shoulder and Peak Seasons, the booking window and chaise lounge policies do not apply. During Peak of Peak Season, rental guests may submit on-property reservation requests through Club Concierge beginning 60 days before their resort access start date. During Festive Season, a dedicated Festive Concierge Desk opens in mid-November to facilitate on-property reservations.
During Peak of Peak and Festive Seasons, chaise lounges for residential and rental guests are available on lawns and beaches only, as directed by Pool Operations. Rental guests also have a one-time opportunity to opt into resort access during their stay; the entire household must participate for a minimum of two consecutive days without interruption.
Good to Know
During the IRONMAN World Championship in October 2026, race day on October 10 will bring significant road closures, traffic delays, and detours throughout the Kona and Kohala areas. Guests are encouraged to plan travel accordingly.
The annual Chairman’s Club Event at Four Seasons Resort Hualalai will take place November 30–December 5, 2026. Resort access and amenities may be limited during this event and are managed entirely by Hualalai Resort.
Each January, Hualalai Resort hosts the Mitsubishi Electric Championship, which may result in temporary modifications to guest access at select resort amenities.
The Beach Tree Pool will be temporarily closed September 8–November 15 for repairs and enhancements. Beach Tree Restaurant will remain open for lunch and dinner, with continued beachfront food and beverage service. Guests with purchased Hualalai Resort amenities access may use the Resort’s seven other swimming facilities during the closure and may enjoy the shoreline with their own beach chair.
Mandatory mid-stay cleaning applies to stays of 14 nights or longer.
Additional guest fees apply if extra guests are approved.
