Scheduled Resort Events and Access Restrictions
Please plan your stay with the following scheduled events and potential access limitations in mind. Resort access and amenity availability are managed by Hualālai Resort and may change at its discretion.
- Chairman's Club Event | November 30–December 5, 2026: Access to Hualālai Resort and its amenities will be limited during this annual event.
- Mitsubishi Golf Tournament | January 16–24, 2027: Access to the resort and its amenities will be limited during the tournament.
- IRONMAN Race | October 9, 2027: Extensive road closures throughout the Kona and Kohala areas may affect traffic and driving routes. Guests are encouraged to plan travel accordingly and allow additional time for transportation.

Beach Tree Pool Closure
The Beach Tree Pool is scheduled to close temporarily from September 8 through November 15 for repairs and enhancements. Beach Tree Restaurant is expected to remain open for lunch and dinner, with beachfront food and beverage service continuing during the project.
Guests who have purchased the Hualālai Resort amenities package may continue to enjoy the resort's seven other swimming facilities during the closure. Guests may also enjoy the shoreline with their own beach chair from the villa. Please confirm current facility availability directly with the resort before arrival.
Resort Access Fees & Policies
Daily resort access fees apply to guests wishing to use Hualālai Resort amenities. These fees are paid directly to the resort and are separate from the villa rental rate.

Resort Reservation & Access Policies
During Shoulder and Peak Seasons, booking-window and chaise lounge policies will not apply.
During Peak of Peak Season, rental guests may submit on-property reservation requests through Club Concierge beginning 60 days before their resort access start date.
During Festive Season, a dedicated Festive Concierge Desk is scheduled to open in mid-November to facilitate on-property reservations.
During Peak of Peak and Festive Seasons, chaise lounges for residential and rental guests will be available on lawns and beaches only, as directed by Pool Operations.
Rental guests have a one-time opportunity to opt into resort access during their stay. The entire household must participate for a minimum of two consecutive days, without interruption.
