Access to Hualālai Resort amenities is subject to availability, resort policies, and applicable daily fees paid directly to Hualālai Resort. These fees are separate from the villa rental rate and are not automatically included in the booking. Seasonal date ranges and access conditions should be verified with Hualālai Resort, as policies and availability may change. Rental guests are generally provided a one-time opportunity to opt into resort access during their stay, with the entire household participating for a minimum of two consecutive days without interruption. Reservation procedures and chaise lounge access may vary by season.
Important resort notices
- Chairman’s Club Event: November 30–December 5, 2026. Access to the resort and amenities may be limited.
- Mitsubishi Golf Tournament: January 16–24, 2027. Access to the resort and amenities may be limited.
- Beach Tree Pool: A previously announced closure for repairs and enhancements was scheduled for September 8–November 15, with Beach Tree Restaurant and beachfront food and beverage service expected to continue during the project. The year and current operational status should be confirmed directly with Hualālai Resort.
- Hualālai Spa: A previously announced renovation of the outdoor aqua-thermal areas was scheduled from September to mid-November 2025. This notice is historical; please verify current spa facilities and treatment locations directly with the resort.
- IRONMAN Race: October 9, 2027. Extensive road closures in the Kona and Kohala areas may affect driving routes and travel times. Guests should plan accordingly and check current traffic guidance closer to their stay.
All resort access, facility operations, event restrictions, and reservation policies are managed by Hualālai Resort and may change at its discretion.
