Central air-conditioning systems are independently maintained to manufacturer specifications, ensuring comfort throughout the residence.

Resort amenities require a separate paid daily resort access fee, paid directly to Hualalai Resort and not included in the rental rate. Access requires participation by the entire household for a minimum of two consecutive days. Hualalai Resort manages all access, rates, reservations, and policies independently and may modify them without notice. The resort will contact guests after booking to coordinate access.

During Shoulder and Peak Seasons, booking-window and chaise-lounge policies do not apply. During Peak of Peak Season, rental guests may submit on-property reservation requests through Club Concierge beginning 60 days before their resort access start date. During Festive Season, a dedicated Festive Concierge Desk opens in mid-November to facilitate on-property reservations.
During Peak of Peak and Festive Seasons, chaise lounges for residential and rental guests are available on lawns and beaches only, as directed by Pool Operations.
Rental guests receive a one-time opportunity to opt into resort access during their stay. The entire household must participate for a minimum of two consecutive days without interruption.
Important Resort Notices
Chairman's Club Event — November 30–December 5, 2026
Hualalai Resort's annual Chairman's Club Event will take place Monday, November 30 through Saturday, December 5, 2026. Access to the resort and select amenities will be limited during this period. Access is managed entirely by Hualalai Resort and may change at its discretion. Guests should contact Hualalai Resort directly for the most current information.
Mitsubishi Electric Championship — Each January
Hualalai Resort hosts the Mitsubishi Electric Championship each January. The event may result in temporary modifications to guest access at select resort amenities. Access is managed entirely by Hualalai Resort and may change at its discretion.
Beach Tree Pool Closure — September 8–November 15
The Beach Tree Pool at Hualalai will be temporarily closed for repairs and enhancements from September 8 through November 15. Beach Tree Restaurant will remain open for lunch and dinner, with continued beachfront food and beverage service available during the project. Guests who have purchased access to the Hualalai Resort amenities package may continue to enjoy the resort's seven other swimming facilities during the closure. Guests may also enjoy the shoreline with their own beach chair from the residence.

Hualalai Resort places guests in the heart of Hawaiʻi Island's celebrated Kona-Kohala Coast, with easy access to some of the Big Island's most memorable experiences.
Kona International Airport (KOA) is just minutes away, making arrivals convenient and departures effortless. Nearby Kailua-Kona offers open-air dining, farmers markets, boutique shopping, and the relaxed character of an authentic Hawaiian community.
Kua Bay is within easy reach, offering exceptionally clear waters and a beautiful white-sand beach. Additional golf courses are nearby, while the legendary Kona Coffee belt provides a scenic journey into the lush green farms that rise above the coast.
Good to Know
• IRONMAN World Championship: During the October 2026 IRONMAN World Championship, with race day on October 10, significant road closures and traffic delays are expected throughout the Kona and Kohala areas. Detours and traffic-control measures will be in place and may affect driving routes and travel times.
• Extended Stays: Reservations of 14 nights or longer require a mandatory mid-stay cleaning.
• Accessibility: The home's layout may not be fully wheelchair accessible. Guests requiring accessibility accommodations are encouraged to contact the management team, who can assist with coordinating ramps that guests may purchase independently at their own expense.
