Resort Reservations & Access Policies
- During Shoulder and Peak Seasons, the booking-window and chaise lounge policies will not apply.
- During Peak of Peak Season, rental guests may submit on-property reservation requests through Club Concierge beginning 60 days before their resort access start date.
- During Festive Season, a dedicated Festive Concierge Desk is scheduled to open in mid-November to facilitate on-property reservations.
- During Peak of Peak and Festive Seasons, chaise lounges for residential and rental guests will be available on lawns and beaches as directed by Pool Operations.
Rental guests have a one-time opportunity to opt into resort access during their stay. The entire household must participate for a minimum of two consecutive days, without a break in access.

Important Guest Information
Resort Events and Access Restrictions
Hualalai Resort may experience limited access to facilities and amenities during major events. The following dates have been announced:
Chairman’s Club Event: November 30–December 5, 2026
Mitsubishi Golf Tournament: January 16–24, 2027

Scheduled Pool Closure
The Beach Tree Pool is scheduled to close temporarily from September 8 through November 15 for repairs and enhancements. Beach Tree Restaurant is expected to remain open for lunch and dinner, with beachfront food and beverage service continuing during the project. Guests with resort access may use other available resort swimming facilities, subject to resort policies. The shoreline may also be enjoyed with personal beach chairs from the villa.
IRONMAN Race
On October 9, 2027, the IRONMAN Race is expected to result in extensive road closures and traffic diversions throughout Kona and the Kohala area. Guests traveling during this period should allow additional time and plan routes accordingly.
