Property Notice – Poipu Shores AOAO Project Update (as of November 2025)
Please be advised that Poipu Shores remains temporarily closed for ongoing structural and plumbing repair work. The AOAO and HPG have extended the project completion and property reopening date to December 15, 2025, to allow for final inspections and the issuance of county occupancy permits.
Current updates include:
• Building A: Structural repairs under review, with additional bathroom demo and tile replacement planned.
• Building B: Structural wall corrections required following the repiping project.
• Building C: Plumbing work is complete; final inspections and finish work are in progress.
• Projected reopening: December 15, 2025 (subject to change pending engineering and contractor progress).

The main benefit is the striking location literally over crashing waves. You can sit on the large balcony at night and ponder eternity as the stars meet the ocean. Both bedrooms are spacious but the one shared bathroom is tiny with no space for toiletries.The pool is ok and the beaches are within walking distance. Would repeat

This is a very unique property and that it has two ocean front bedrooms. The property manager was fantastic. The air conditioner had to be fixed two times, and both times it was taken care of the same day. We would definitely stay here again. My wife loved watching the turtles from the balcony. This is a good unit for a couple.

Location, location , location. The location was PERFECT!!! Absolutely gorgeous view and would fall asleep to the waves crashing into the rocks every night ( even with the windows closed). You are within walking distance to Poipu beach which is the beach all the sea turtles sleep on at night! Incredible!!!!! Also there is an excellent shopping center with shops and restaurants that is a 5 minute drive away. Our friends stayed north of the island and they would drive to Poipu every night for dinner. If we come back we will definitely stay here again!!

My family has such a wonderful time at this property. It was really amazing. It needs to be updated eventually, but it is a super sweet condo. Balcony over looks pool, which opens reasonably at 8am. That means families start swimming a bit early, but didn't pose a problem. It is really an incredible view of the water, the waves and the sunsets. Within walking distance to Poipu Beach, which is one of the best beaches for kids. Sea Turtles, Stingrays, and Dolphins off the balcony, you can't beat it. Pool was awesome too. Elite was very communicative and check-in was a breeze. We simply had the perfect vacation here.
