Why St. Barts Home Rentals Book Earlier Than Other Destinations
Unlike destinations with a strong mix of large resorts with hundreds of rooms, St. Barts is much more boutique. The island has some very nice small hotels, but private villas are the preferred accommodation.

Demand remains strong after the holidays.
Visitors escaping winter weather continue arriving from North America and Europe, keeping occupancy levels high throughout the island.
Luxury villas with four or more bedrooms, direct beach access, or exceptional views often reserve six to eight months in advance.
Travelers with flexible dates usually have more choices than those visiting during Christmas week, but early planning still produces the best results.
Spring Travel
Late April, May, and June, aka shoulder season, offer more availability than the core winter months, with calendars opening up more after Easter.
Guests will find homes that were impossible to reserve during winter suddenly have openings on the calendar.

September and October are still in the hurricane risk zone, so they generally offer more availability.

But because this period falls within hurricane season, we recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance.
